At Franklin Court, you'll find the Christ Church Burial Ground, a famous landmark where Ben Franklin and four other signers of the Declaration of Independence are buried. Congress Hall, the first home of Congress, is also here. George Washington and John Adams were inaugurated in this building, and the Bill of Rights was ratified inside. The Liberty Bell, Philadelphia's most famous attraction, was rung to mark the reading of the Declaration of Independence in 1776. Despite its 2,000-pound weight, the Bell doesn't look that heavy. Philadelphia is a fantastic city to visit. It's friendly, full of history, and offers a great blend of old and new, historic and modern. There are plenty of sites, restaurants, clubs, and museums to keep you entertained, as well as numerous parks in the city center and the rivers, which add to the city's peaceful yet lively atmosphere.

Saint Martin is an island in the northeast Caribbean, approximately 300 km east of Puerto Rico. It is the smallest inhabited sea island divided between two nations, a division that dates back to 1648. The southern Dutch part is Sint Maarten, one of four constituent countries that form the Kingdom of the Netherlands. The northern French part is the Collectivité de Saint-Martin (Collectivity of St. Martin), an overseas collectivity of France. Top sights in Saint Martin include the Butterfly Farm, where you can stroll under a tented mesh among hundreds of colorful butterflies, and Pic du Paradis, the highest point on the island, with two viewpoints offering sweeping panoramas. Beaches are a major attraction on Saint Martin, with a total of 37 beaches. One particularly famous beach is Maho Bay Beach on the Dutch side, known for its close-up views of airplanes landing and taking off.

Puerto Plata, also known as San Felipe de Puerto Plata, is a coastal city in the Dominican Republic with a population of about 130,000 and is the capital of Puerto Plata province. Famous for its beautiful sandy beaches, it’s a popular resort destination and a great place to meet local Dominicans and shop in neighborhood businesses. Take the funicular up the mountain behind the city to see a replica of the original Christ the Redeemer statue in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. At the top, there’s a short trail with scenic viewpoints, a cave, and a small lagoon-like pool. You can also visit Fortaleza San Felipe, a historic fort overlooking the main bay.
